AIA 2018 Dallas Home Tour – October 20-21, 2018; 10am-5pm
Rene Gracia and his firm, RGD+B, is pleased to have two homes on the 2018 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes. To kick off the weekend's activities, their award-winning project on Bent Tree Golf Course will serve as the location for the tour’s Premier Party. The other home is located right here in in East Kessler Park at 937 Kessler Pkwy. The project was a complete transformation of a dilapidated 1950s split-level home, echoing its mid-century roots with low, sweeping proportions and open expanses that allow the natural spaces to define the architecture. Come explore and check out the other amazing projects on this year's tour.
Tickets are available at hometourdallas.com.

EAST KESSLER OWL PRESENTATION AND OWL PROWL!
Have you heard or seen the owls that live here in East Kessler? This year the beautification committee will be hosting the first ever Owl Prowl to bring the neighborhood together and learn about our neighborhood friends we have here in beautiful East Kessler Park.
Several representatives from the Dallas Zoo will be on hand with an owl or two to teach us about these wonderful animals, then, after the presentation they will take us on an Owl Prowl so that we can learn the sights and sounds of our owls and see if we can find some ourselves!. Please join us!
Date: Thurs, Nov 1st, 2018
Time: 6:30 - 8. Owl presentation first (don't be late!), then Owl Prowl after.
Location: Trail head of Combs Creek. Where Kessler Parkway and Junior meet on Combs Creek.
Any questions? Please contact Chris Hendrix at 214-669-4385.
